The Very Rev. Dr. Leander S. Harding, dean of the Cathedral of All Saints in Albany, is entering his fourth decade as a priest of the Episcopal Church.
He received a BA in religion and literary criticism from New College in Sarasota, Florida, an MDiv cum laude from Andover Newton Theological School, and a PhD from the Institute for Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry at Boston College.
After 26 years in parish ministry, he joined the faculty of Trinity School for Ministry, where he was associate professor of pastoral theology and dean of seminary advancement.
In 2013, he returned to parish ministry as the rector of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Catskill, New York.
He is a regular contributor to The Living Church. Leander has been married to Claudia Harding for more than 40 years, and they have three adult sons.
