Contributors Jonathan Turtle

Jonathan Turtle

The Rev. Jonathan Turtle is the Incumbent of the Parish of Craighurst and Midhurst, a two-point rural parish in the northern part of the Diocese of Toronto, where he lives and serves with his wife Christina and their four children Charlotte, Grace, Joseph, and Samuel.
Upon completing his divinity studies at Wycliffe College he served his curacy at the Church of St. Mary and St. Martha, a then newly amalgamated church comprised of four parishes. He is an advocate for self-consciously owning the strangeness of the gospel as it relates to the Church’s worship and witness. Otherwise he enjoys being outdoors, strength training, watching British detective shows, and writing bios in the third person.

A Chance for Young Anglicans to Clear the Air

How should young Anglicans respond to the battles they have inherited?

Assisted Death and the Church’s Vocation

The "assisted dying" conversation already includes children, those whom the initial legislation sought to protect.

The interior life and the re-evangelization of the West

There can be no great evangelism, no good works, no moral or faithful life at all apart from a deep and abiding personal encounter with the living Christ.
