Dane Boston is rector of Christ Church in Cooperstown, New York. A native of Dunedin, Florida, Dane earned his BA in English literature (with a special focus on the poetry and sermons of John Donne) at Washington and Lee University.
He trained for the priesthood at Berkeley Divinity School at Yale, receiving his MDiv in 2011. From 2011 to 2014, Dane served as a curate of Christ Church in Greenwich, Connecticut. From 2014 to 2016, he was canon for Christian formation at Trinity Cathedral in Columbia, South Carolina.
Dane and his wife, Debby, are the proud parents of Eleanor and Thomas, affectionately known as “Fritz.” When Dane and Debby are not chasing, dressing, feeding, bathing, playing with, or reading to their children, they enjoy cooking together, hiking, watching Netflix, and drinking good beer.
