The Rev. Dr. Cole Hartin is an associate rector of Christ Church in Tyler, TX where he lives with his wife and four sons.
Cole holds a PhD in theological studies from Wycliffe College and the University of Toronto and is a fellow at the Center for Pastor Theologians.
He is working on a book on nineteenth-century Anglican biblical interpretation for Brill. His academic work has been published in places like The Heythrop Journal, Open Theology, and Horizons in Biblical Studies. His popular writing and commentary has been published by Commonweal Magazine, Christianity Today, Mere Orthodoxy, and Front Porch Republic, among other places.
