Bishop Daniel Martins retired on July 1, 2021, as the 11th Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield in the Episcopal Church. He is secretary of the Living Church Foundation’s board of directors, as well as holding leadership positions in the Anglican Fellowship of Prayer, the Society of King Charles the Martyr, and the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament. Among the members of the House of Bishops, he hangs out with the group known as the Communion Partners. Bishop Daniel lives in Chicago with Brenda, his wife since 1972.
