While combing through our archives, I came across this pair of essays from bygone days by Tony Hunt. They touch upon matters near and dear to my heart: the intersection of worship and mission, and especially the daily office. I often tell my (mostly Catholic) pastoral ministry students that the Liturgy of the Hours holds the key for revitalized laity and a vision of liturgy that moves us beyond clericalism. May it be so.
