Mumford and the Welbys are longtime friends, and humor flows throughout the interview. Mumford’s first question: “Justin, of the 105 archbishops of Canterbury, five have been murdered. How does that make you feel?” “Well, it’s about 21 to one,” Welby deadpanned. Mumford and his wife, Eleanor, are the parents of Mumford & Sons founder Marcus Mumford.
